WebRobert Arnold Schürhoff Martineau (22 August 1913 – 28 June 1999) was a British bishop who was the first Bishop of Huntingdon and who was later translated to Blackburn . Born in Birmingham and educated at King Edward's School [1] and Trinity Hall, Cambridge, he was ordained in 1938. He is a member of The Society, a traditionalist Anglo-Catholic society of the Church of England. [11] In February 2012, the diocese announced that Reade was to retire on 31 October 2012. [12] In his retirement, he was licensed in mid-2013 as an honorary assistant bishop of the Diocese in Europe.
