WebJul 16, 2008 · Jul 9, 2008. #5. I have a set of 8" F.O.A. coil overs on my 91 Toy pickup, and there not bad the valving needs some work (any shock would) but for the money its a good shock. If I had the money I would go King but I am on a budget and I though that I would take a gamble and try F.O.A. at almost half the price of King, I am happy so far. WebMay 12, 2024 · I read a lot of reviews about the FOA's both positive and negative. The majority of the bad reviews are with QC problems and deburring or a lack there of and nothing recent. So I ordered 4 corners of their 2.5 reservoir coilovers and 2.0 bumps 2 weeks ago. My order status shows "in assembly" so I suspect they will be shipping soon.

I bought my Kings from a vendor here on the board. 2.5" Kings, remote reservoir, with dual rate springs and hardware = $1090 shipped. 2.5" FOA's with dual rate, billet top cap with replaceable heim, billet preload and lower spring retainer, springs = $860 PLUS SHIPPING, so figure $900-950.
