http://status.sms.optus.com.au/ WebApr 1, 2024 · Mail server is mail.optusnet.com.au for both incoming and outgoing. No encryption (otherwise that gives an additional error). Tried IMAP and POP3. No luck. I use Thunderbird. My settings are: POP – port 995, SSL/TLS security; SMTP – port 25, no security. Been working for years without issue.
